ProScan Media Products (PMP) is a leading provider of labeling, coding and marking solutions to the Southern African market. PMP solutions include industry leading label printers, label applicators, print 'n apply applicators, inkjet coders and label generation software. PMP manufactures and supplies all the consumables required for labeling, coding and marking applications, including self-adhesive labels, thermal transfer ribbons and inkjet inks.
With its head office in Jet Park, Gauteng, PMP has regional offices in Cape Town, Durban and Port Elizabeth, servicing vertical markets that include: retail, consumer goods, industrial, transport and logistics, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, petrochemical and healthcare markets throughout Southern Africa. Label PrintersPMP supplies the world leading range of Intermec and Datamax-O'Neil printers. The range includes desktop bar code and label printers, mobile receipt and label printers, with label generation software and printer management tools, to deliver a variety of solutions for any environment or application. Label Applicators, Print 'n Apply applicators and Inkjet CodersPMP has a comprehensive range of label applicators, print 'n apply applicators and inkjet coders from leading global brands, including Collamat and United Barcode Systems (UBS). The range of label applicators from Collamat, world leaders in labelling and marking solutions, is suitable for high speed conveyor belt labelling applications, as well as industrial applications where flexibility, robustness, and easy handling are a must. Collamat applicators are modular, reliable, and user friendly. The UBS range of print 'n apply applicators is characterised by compact and durable design, versatility and high labelling speeds, enabling customers to create printed labels on the fly with variable information and immediate application. The range provides a flexible solution for variable or seasonable information, with the capabilities to handle large product variations in shapes, size, contour and diameter. UBS Inkjet printing systems are equipped with the best hydraulics, electronics and data computing, covering a wide range of marking and coding applications. UBS inkjet models have the flexibility to handle a wide range of industrial requirements, delivering high quality coding and marking resolution. ConsumablesPMP produces self-adhesive, bar code and multi-colour labels (up to six colours) in a wide range of materials for all applications, from short-life thermal labels to high temperature long-life synthetic labels. PMP also manufactures thermal transfer ribbons for multiple applications in different sizes to suit all brands of thermal transfer printers. Labels and ribbons are manufactured to Original Equipment Manufacturer's (OEM) standards. Complementary products include label generating, design and connectivity software for stand-alone applications or integration into back-end systems. PMP's print bureau is used by companies who outsource the printing of their labels, particularly for specialised and complex applications.
